David Letterman presented the "Top 10 Reasons to Buy Snooki's Book" which was delivered by the author herself. Reading from cue cards, Snooki told the audience of "Late Show with David Letterman" that her new book "A Shore Thing" includes "200 pages of hangover cures" and "helpful tips on how to clean Ron-Ron juice out of your Camaro."
She also took a jab at Letterman's show, "If you're watching this show then you're standards can't be too high." Then she made a shout out to her "Jersey Shore" co-star JWoww, saying she gave the book "five wowws". But she made fun of her other castmate, DJ Pauly D. "It's so good Pauly D wants to learn to read," she deadpanned.
"A Shore Thing" is already available in stores. Snooki said among the list that she would grind with you in any club of your choice if you show her your receipt.

Oprah Winfrey Still Has Her Talk Show Running
If Oprah Winfrey still has her talk show running, she would have sent her team to invite Ted Williams immediately. The multi-millionaire entrepreneur is "fascinated" by the story of Williams who went from a homeless man to a celebrity overnight because of his golden voice and the story behind his fall.
With that in mind, Oprah is looking forward to hire the 53-year-old man. "I would like to see him be part of OWN," Winfrey told Inside Edition in an interview airing Friday, January 7. "It would be fantastic to hear him say, 'The Oprah Winfrey Network'."
Oprah then revealed why she is among those impressed by Williams' talent. "The reason we're all so fascinated, I think, is because it means you can be homeless on the street, carrying a sign like we've all seen, and this can happen to you," she said.
Since his YouTube video emerged with the help of a Colombus reporter, Williams has made TV appearances on "Today" and "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" among others, signed a contract with Kraft's Mac and Cheese, and voiced MSNBC promo. In addition, Cleveland Cavaliers has offered him a huge job and Jack Nicholson has contacted his family for a possible movie project.
But Williams, who was once a radio host before drug and booze claimed his career, is also concerned about going down the gutter again. He's going to pick one job to focus on and would see a therapist. "I feel like I'm going to need it," he said.

Peter Pan Prequel 'Neverland's First Look
The story before Peter Pan meets the three siblings will be told in a 90-minute movie divided into two parts. "Neverland" is a take to J.M. Barrie's famous fairytale which would focus on The Lost Boys, Captain Hook, The Indians, Croc and the Neverland itself. It will begin with the story of Peter as an orphan, making a living as a pickpocketer.
Raised on the streets of turn-of-the-century London, orphaned Peter and his pals survive by their fearless wits as cunning young pickpockets. Now, they've been rounded up by their mentor Jimmy Hook to snatch a priceless treasure whose magical powers transports them to another world.
It's here that the boys find themselves confronted by a band of 18th century pirates led by the power-mad Elizabeth Bonny, and the Native American Kaw tribe led by a Holy Man, which has protected the secret of the tree spirits from Bonny and her gang for ages. As the fight to save this strange and beautiful world becomes vital, Hook, Peter, and the ragamuffin lost boys consider that growing old somewhere in time could be less important than growing up.
Charlie Rowe takes the main role of Peter Pan, assisted by Rhys Ifans as Jimmy Hook, Bob Hoskins ad Mr. Smee, Anna Friel as Elizabeth Bonny and Danny Trujillo as the Holy Man. Written and directed by Nick Willing, it will be released on Sky Movies in the U.K. and on Syfy in the U.S., both later this year.

However, the only "LOTR" cast who has been officially announced as part of "The Hobbit" is Cate Blanchett who will once again portray Galadriel aka Lady of Lothlorien.
"The Hobbit" and "The Hobbit 2" will be shot back to back with principal photography planned to be kicked off in February 2011 in New Zealand. The first film is scheduled for December 2012 release and the second film will follow a year later. Jackson, Fran Walsh, Philippa Boyens and Guillermo del Toro team up to write the script. Martin Freeman takes the lead role of Bilbo Baggins.
So Great Is The Influence of 'The Social Network' This Year
So great is the influence of "The Social Network" this year that upcoming Critics' Choice Movie Awards will use it in its promo. The movie is getting spoofed by "Jackass" cast in one of four parodies of the Critics' Choice nominees for Best Picture.
Based on a behind-the-scene video, it seems that Johnny Knoxville and his gang's take on "The Social Network" will be saucy. In a scene set in a tense boardroom, Bam Margera is seen trying to get Knoxville's Mark Zuckerberg's attention by licking another man's armpit. He even lies naked on the table.
"Poor Bam, the room was ice-cold. Everyone, please know that the room was ice-cold in there," Knoxville said. Margera added, "Every time that I'm naked, it's always cold out. It's Los Angeles, and it's freezing."
"We're spoofing four movies. We've never done anything like this before," Knoxville additionally stated about the parody. "So God knows how they're going to turn out. I play Mark Zuckerberg; Wee-Man and Preston play the Winklevoss twins."
2011 Critics' Choice Movie Awards will be held on Friday, January 14 and aired on VH1. "The Social Network" is up against "127 Hours", "Black Swan", "Inception", "The King's Speech", "Toy Story 3" and four other films for the Best Picture title.

'SNL'Announced An Inevitable Pair
"Saturday Night Live" has announced an inevitable pair that will each host and perform in its January 15 episode. Gwyneth Paltrow is taking her third turn as a host of the variety show in a bid to promote her new movie "Country Strong" which opens wide in U.S. January 7. Cee-Lo, whose song Paltrow has covered for "Glee", is the musical guest.
Unlike Paltrow, this would be the Gnarls Barkley member's first time on "SNL". His third solo album "The Lady Killer" was released in November and the hit single "F**k You" has received four Grammy nominations including "Record of the Year" and "Song of the Year". Paltrow sang the tamer, radio version, retitled "Forget You" when she guest starred in a Fall episode of "Glee".
It is unclear whether these two artists would make a duet. Earlier this month, Paltrow revealed that she is indeed considering a music career with the help of Cee-Lo. "We're sort of emailing each other, we don't know where that's gonna go," she said. "But I am such a big fan of Cee Lo, he is so gorgeous and talented and amazing. We'll see."
"SNL" will begin the second leg of season 36 on January 8 with Jim Carrey as host and The Black Keys as the musical guest.
On another news, Betty White whose appearance on "SNL" last year was due to strong demand from fans via a Facebook campaign, has ruled out a return. "You should quit while you're even," White told Zap2it, "but they could not have been nicer." She added, "I had a great time, but that's it!"
Leif Garrett Has Prompted A War of Words
Troubled 70's pop star Leif Garrett has prompted a war of words between himself and the producers of VH1 reality show "Celebrity Rehab" after accusing them of accelerating his 2010 drug relapse for dramatic effect.
The singer, who has been battling drug abuse for years, checked into the latest season of "Celebrity Rehab" in a bid to kick his habit, but in a new Los Angeles Times interview, Garrett claims producers encouraged him to relapse in a bid to boost ratings.
He says, "(The producers) asked to get some footage of me using, and I said, 'I haven't been using'. They said, 'We really have to get footage of you using.' Anyway, I was easily talked into showing them." Scott Acord, vice president of VH1 Communications, has denied Garrett's claim, stating, "The show's producers would never ask anyone to use... PERIOD."
Garrett, 49, filmed his segments for the reality show with actors Eric Roberts and Jeremy London. Since the show the "I Was Made for Dancin'" singer ' has pleaded no contest to a 2010 heroin possession charge and entered court-ordered rehab.

Nahem tells the New York Post, "Fela Kuti was to the music of the last 40 years what Picasso was to art in the 20th century."

'Thor's Plot Details Leaked
The first official trailer for "Thor" was debuted by Paramount Pictures almost a month ago but there is still plenty that we don't know about the film. However, some details have now been leaked to provide spoilers ahead of the film release.
The major spoilers first came out on SuperHeroHype forums and were then confirmed by Comic Book Movie's source. [SPOILER ALERT!] It says the film will start with Natalie Portman's Jane, Kat Dennings' Darcy and Stellan Skarsgard's Professor Andrews in a van out in the New Mexico desert observing a phenomenon in the sky. This is when Chris Hemsworth's Thor drops to Earth. Jane accidentally hits him with her van and she does that again later in the film.
Over at Asgard, Thor is seen in a flashback scene where he is about to be anointed king by his dad, Anthony Hopkins' Odin, when two Frost people infiltrate the palace and try to steal a "casket" which Odin got during a battle with the Frost people on their planet. Thor tries to convince his dad to wage war against the Frost people after they broke the truce with Asgard.
Odin refuses; Thor, Loki and 3 other soldiers end up going to the frost planet alone. Odin comes to the rescue just as the Frost people are about to kill Thor and his warriors.
Inside his detention cell, Thor is visited by Loki who tells him that his father has died. Thor confronts the Destroyer, and apologizes to Loki (via a conduit with the Destroyer) about what caused him to be resentful of Thor after becoming king of Asgard. It was actually Loki who helped the Frost people infiltrate the Asgard palace. Loki made a deal with the Frost king that he would help the Frost king kill Odin in exchange for Loki assuming complete control of Asgard (it will later be revealed that Loki was lying to the Frost king).
Thor destroys the Destroyer by a blow to the head by his Hammer. A romantic scene sees Thor sharing a kiss with Jane before going back to Asgard to confront Loki, who kills the Frost king just as he is about to kill Odin.
Out on the rainbow bridge, Thor defeats Loki. He and Loki are hanging along the edge of the bridge and are about to be sucked into a wormhole when Odin (who regained consciousness when Thor returned to Asgard) comes to their rescue. Loki tells Odin that he "did this all for him", but Odin replies that he didn't want peace "like this". Loki realizes he failed his father once again and lets go of the bridge, falling into the wormhole.
Back in the Asgard palace, all is well. Thor, on what remains of the Rainbow bridge, asks the Gatekeeper (Idris Elba) what Jane is doing back on Earth and he replies, "She is searching for you." Thor had to destroy the rainbow bridge (with his Hammer), which was his only way to get to Earth, because Loki threatens to go to Earth and kill Jane. Final shot of the film is of Jane, Darcy and Professor Andrews inside a room working on their science equipment.
Stan Lee's cameo is additionally described. He plays a truck driver who tries to pull the Hammer out of the ground (in the crater scene shown at the end of "Iron Man 2") by chaining it to the back of his truck. He fails in the attempt.
Said to be seen during a screening of a rough cut from upcoming "Thor", not all of the details mentioned above will appear in the film. Even if they all do appear, it may be not in the chronological order.
Directed by Kenneth Branagh, the action fantasy movie will hit theaters across the nation on May 6, 2011.
